India’s Jagdish Singh finished 103rd out of 119 athletes who took part in the men’s 15 km free cross-country skiing race at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea ... His finish time of 43:00.3 was nine minutes and 16.4 seconds slower than the gold medallist, Switzerland’s Dario Cologna (33:43.9) ... This was the 26-year-old Jagdish’s first Winter Olympics campaign ... It was quite amazing that he have even managed to reach Pyeongchang ... Jagdish did not have a proper racing suit and equipment two days prior to the race ... He bought equipment and gear worth Rs 72,000 in Pyeongchang and doesn’t know whether he will be reimbursed for it.
